Car fire ignites on I-75 in Charlotte County

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – Fire crews responded to a car fire on I-75 near Tuckers Grade in Charlotte County on Saturday.

Florida Highway Patrol was reporting delays in the area. Charlotte County Fire and EMS did confirm no one was injured.

When firefighters arrived on scene flames were coming from the engine of the car.

The fire was put out about 15 minutes after crews responded, according to Charlotte County fire.
