DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a driver that ran a pickup truck off the road and injured two including a 12-year-old Sunday.

The crash happened at County Road 760A and Mosely Terrace around 11:40 a.m. when a driver cut off a pickup truck with three child passengers and caused a rollover crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 44-year-old Fort Myers man was traveling with a 15-year-old Fort Myers girl, a 10-year-old boy, and a 12-year-old girl both from Lehigh Acres, troopers said.

The 15-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy suffered minor injuries while the driver and the 12-year-old boy had to be airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.

FHP said they believe the hit and run driver was driving a Sedan.
