Estero teen rockstar Casey Bishop lands spot in Top 10 of American Idol
LEE COUNTY, Fla. – She’s 16 years old, super cool and edgy, and America has voted her into the Top 10 of American Idol.
Casey Bishop, from Estero, sang ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ Sunday night during Idol’s live performances.
Voting was only open for about two hours, but Casey was able to win over America, yet again.
Three people were eliminated Sunday night, leaving 9 contestants in the singing competition. Monday night, contestants from the 2020 season will go head-to-head in an effort to land the last spot in the Top 10.
American Idol airs every Sunday and Monday on our sister station ABC7 at 8 p.m.
