Forecast: More heat and storms into the weekend

Your Friday forecast looks great this morning with temps in the upper 70s and generally clear skies. 

We’ll track the chance for a few tiny coastal showers through the morning, and more storms will pop up this afternoon. 

Storms will build west to east again today, so our inland areas will see the highest rain chances late in the afternoon. 

A few isolated storms could still build back toward the coast this evening, so keep an eye on the NBC2 First Alert LIVE Doppler Radar if you’re heading out. 

Temperatures will be toasty today with highs on track to reach the low to mid-90s, and it’s going to feel like the triple digits. 

We’ll see more summery weather for the weekend featuring more heat, humidity, and scattered afternoon storms.
