Forecast: One more round of rain Wednesday morning
We’ve got one more round of rain in store this Wednesday morning before our weather begins to quiet down and dry out.
We’ll track showers and even some heavier downpours developing throughout the morning, moving from west to east toward our coast.
Expect mainly cloudy skies this morning with off-and-on rain and temperatures staying fairly warm in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
This afternoon, the rain will finally start to push south of our area, allowing for increasing sunshine and temperatures peaking near 85 degrees.
Our reward for our three-day stretch of unsettled weather comes this evening as drier air flows back into Southwest Florida, which will lower our humidity.
The result will be cooler temperatures overnight into Thursday morning with lows on track to reach the lower 60s with some upper 50s inland.
The warmth and humidity return this weekend highs near 90 and also a chance for some isolated rain Sunday with the arrival of another weak cold front.
