One person dead in LaBelle dump truck crash

LABELLE, Fla. – One person died in a three-car crash in LaBelle on Friday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said a dump truck was involved in the crash that happened on SR-29 and Industrial Loop.

Both sides of SR-29 are completely shut down, the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies said they don’t know how long the road will be closed.

Traffic is being directed through Helms Road.

Troopers have not released which driver died in the crash.
