Pedestrian dies in North Fort Myers crash

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — One pedestrian died after they were hit by a car in North Fort Myers early Friday morning, deputies said.

Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene on Orange Grove Boulevard near Saint Clair Avenue West after 5 a.m.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are also on scene and said the pedestrian involved in the crash died.

The crash is under investigation.
