Police search for Cape Coral construction site thief

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Between April 10 and April 12, 40 sheets of plywood went missing from a Cape Coral construction site, according to SWFL Crime Stoppers.

An employee was driving by the construction site on NW 4th Place and saw a suspicious person driving an older white Chevrolet 3500 pickup with a red hood, officials said.

The stolen plywood is worth $2,000, according to Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477 or submit a tip here.

Tipsters could be eligible for a $3,000 cash reward.
