Federal judge rules DACA illegal, blocks new applications

CNN — A federal judge in Texas ruled that Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) the Obama-era program shielding certain undocumented immigrants from deportation is illegal on Friday. He also blocked new applicants. The ruling made by Judge Andrew Hanen stops future applicants. Airline offers ‘dark tourism’ trip with flight above Chernobyl

CNN – If you’ve ever wanted to see the site of the world’s worst nuclear disaster, you could get the chance to glimpse it from above. Taco Bell to reuse hot sauce packets

CNN – Taco Bell is partnering with a recycling company to give its hot sauce packets a “spicier second life that doesn’t involve a landfill,” the fast food chain announced. Taco Bell is hoping that by 2024, packaging used by its customers will be fully “recyclable, compostable, or reusable” across all of its 7,000 global locations. Venmo now allows transactions with cryptocurrency

CNN – Venmo announced on Tuesday that it is allowing its users to sell, buy and pay with cryptocurrency on the app. Venmo, which is owned by PayPal, said its more than 70 million customers can buy bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and bitcoin cash for as little as $1. Cryptocurrency is often daunting to newbies, so Venmo is offering in-app guides and videos to help answer frequently asked questions. Video: Railroad worker saves child from oncoming train

CNN      (CNN) — Hair-raising footage released Monday shows the moment an Indian railroad employee rushed to save the life of a child who had fallen onto the tracks. The CCTV video, posted to Twitter by India’s Ministry of Railways, showed a station worker at Vangani Station in Mumbai sprinting to rescue a child as an oncoming train sped towards them.  (CNN) — Three people were pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, according to tweets from Austin-Travis County EMS. At least 11 killed, 98 injured in Egypt as train derails

  (CNN) — At least 11 people were killed and 98 injured when a train went off the tracks near the city of Toukh, north of Cairo on Sunday, according to Egypt’s Ministry of Health. Peloton Tread+ owners told to stop using the treadmill in ‘urgent warning’

(CNN) — A US government agency issued an “urgent warning” for users of Peloton’s Tread+ following multiple dangerous incidents with the machine, including a child’s death.  (CNN) — Authorities are looking for whoever opened fire at a tavern in southeast Wisconsin overnight, killing three people and seriously wounding two others, the Kenosha County sheriff said.
