Loose cow finally corralled in Collier with the help of a dart gun

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla — A loose cow had a date with a dart gun after wandering away from home in Collier County today. Collier County Sheriff’s Office Agriculture Bureau responded to the loose livestock near a farm off Tamiami Trail East between Collier Boulevard and State Road 92. It was a total team effort to wrangle the cow. First crews used horses to find the animal. After an unsuccessful search for the cow’s owners, a sergeant shot a dart into the cow to sedate it. Collier County deputies investigating rollover crash in Naples

NAPLES, Fla.– The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rollover crash in Naples. The crash happened on Radio Lane and Barot Drive. The car crashed into a fire hydrant then flipped over into a ditch, officials said. There were no injuries reported.
