COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.– Bystanders watched as a woman in a red car careened off the road into a pond Tuesday forcing first responders to jump in and save her. This is one of at least three cars submerged in the water this week around Collier County. Meghan Cooper and her family are staying at a vacation home on St. Andrews Blvd in Naples. Litter fills lot meant for Grace Romanian Baptist chapel

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.– Litter bugs have taken over a lot that the Grace Romanian Baptist once envisioned as the site of their new chapel. Now neighbors are worshipping Collier County Code Enforcement for stepping in. The church owns the wooded lot on the Southwest corner of Golden Gate and Weber Boulevards. At least 5 injured in Collier County I-75 rollover crash

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The northbound lanes of Interstate 75 near the Collier and Golden Gate exits were completely shut down due to a rollover crash, officials said. One lane of NB I-75 has reopened and the on ramp from Collier Boulevard is open to traffic, troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol said. At least five people were injured in the crash that involved a semi-truck that rolled over and one other vehicle, troopers said. FHP is investigating the cause of the crash. Collier County begins vaccinating residents 5 days a week

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Collier County will be giving out COVID-19 vaccines Monday through Friday starting on Monday. Residents may go to the walk-up site at the North Collier Regional Park Exhibit Hall beginning at 3 p.m. The Department of Health recommends residents arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time. Anyone 18 and up can register for a Moderna vaccine appointment on Eventbrite. Collier County has not yet transitioned to using the state Health Department website to schedule appointments. WATCH: Gator spotted wandering golf course in Collier County

The gator with only three legs was seen trekking across Marco Golf Course near the Rookery, according to resident Christine O’Donnell. Fort Myers woman seriously injured in Collier rollover crash

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A Fort Myers woman was seriously injured in a Collier County rollover crash early Saturday morning. Florida Highway Patrol confirmed the crash happened on US 41 and Shores Avenue. The 22-year-old woman driving the car was approaching Shores Avenue on US 41. Her car went off the road and hit a tree and a road sign, troopers said. The woman overcorrected, which caused the her car to overturn. Collier County to build ATV park

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.– Ripping around on an ATV can be a ton of fun but finding a place to do it in Collier County hasn’t been easy. For more than 15 years, the Collier County ATV Park Ad Hoc Committee has served as a voice for riders. COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — People who want to get a COVID-19 vaccine can make an appointment to get their first dose in Naples on Thursday. The vaccination clinic is being hosted at Naples Church (10910 Immokalee Road) and is supported by the Collier County Department of Health and North Collier Fire Control and Rescue District, an authorized provider of COVID-19 vaccines. Caught on camera: Wrong-way driver hops median in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A wrong-way driver in Naples was caught on camera by a fellow motorist on Tuesday night. Grace Lebas said she was driving on Vanderbilt Beach Road near Airport Pulling Road around 8:30 p.m. when she noticed the wrong-way driver.
