While doctors said there aren’t any specific things you can do to prevent, there are things you can do to help the symptoms. Side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine include pain, redness, swelling, tiredness, headaches, muscle pain, chills, fever and nausea.

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Collier County will be giving out COVID-19 vaccines Monday through Friday starting on Monday.
Residents may go to the walk-up site at the North Collier Regional Park Exhibit Hall beginning at 3 p.m.
The Department of Health recommends residents arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
Anyone 18 and up can register for a Moderna vaccine appointment on Eventbrite. Collier County has not yet transitioned to using the state Health Department website to schedule appointments.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Half of all adults in the U.S. have received at least one COVID-19 shot, the government announced Sunday, marking another milestone in the nation’s largest-ever vaccination campaign, AP reports.

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – The Naples Senior Center helped thousands get the COVID-19 vaccine. The last group of seniors that the center registered for COVID-19 vaccine appointments received their shots on Friday.
Dr. Jaclynn Faffer, the president & CEO of the Naples Senior Center, said their mission is accomplished.
“I would say this is probably one of the most important things Naples Senior Center has done,” Faffer said. “It was very laborious but it was a labor of love.”
