Charlotte County moves closer to herd immunity

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.– Of all six counties in NBC2’s coverage area, Charlotte County is the closest to herd immunity. Collier County begins vaccinating residents 5 days a week

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Collier County will be giving out COVID-19 vaccines Monday through Friday starting on Monday. Residents may go to the walk-up site at the North Collier Regional Park Exhibit Hall beginning at 3 p.m. The Department of Health recommends residents arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time. Half of US adults have now received at least one COVID shot

WASHINGTON (AP) – Half of all adults in the U.S. have received at least one COVID-19 shot, the government announced Sunday, marking another milestone in the nation’s largest-ever vaccination campaign, AP reports. Naples Senior Center helps over 7,000 get COVID-19 vaccine

The last group of seniors that the center registered for COVID-19 vaccine appointments received their shots on Friday. Pfizer CEO: Third COVID vaccine dose likely needed within 12 months

CNBC – The CEO of Pfizer Albert Bourla said people will most likely need a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine within a year of getting fully vaccinated. His comments were made on April 1 but became public on Thursday.
