Thief leaves behind ‘fancy glove’ in Charlotte County burglary

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies are searching for a thief that left behind a glove with $100 bills printed on it at the scene of the crime Monday. A suspect broke into a business early Monday morning and deputies said they are trying to find the owner of the “fancy glove” that was left behind, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. NAPLES, Fla. – A mysterious woman named Rosalia advertised around Golden Gate and East Naples, promising to solve relationship problems using “witchcraft services,” according to police. Instead, she reportedly swindled more than $100,000 combined from at least 10 victims using —not magic— but an elaborate and disturbing scheme, the Naples Police Department reported. CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Police are searching for a suspect accused of using stolen credit card information at a Publix grocery store. The person pictured bought gift cards worth over $600 at the Publix at 127 Cape Coral Parkway West, according to the Cape Coral Police Department. FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – A suspect made himself a little too comfortable while burglarizing a Fort Myers Beach home. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — A knife-wielding man who made threats and refused to drop his weapon was shot late Thursday when he lunged toward a deputy outside a South Florida strip mall.
