Nearly $150 million given to Florida communities to make resilient infrastructures
LAKELAND, Fla. – Nearly $150 million was awarded to some Florida communities to help make more resilient infrastructures.
Two local communities, DeSoto County and the City of Arcadia, will receive a portion of the award, according to Governor Ron DeSantis.
The City of Arcadia will receive $4,823,579 to widen a stormwater tributary to provide additional storage to control flood volume.
