FORT MYERS, Fla. – Detectives are searching for a suspect involved in a robbery at a Fort Myers Dollar General. The Fort Myers Police Department said the man is a suspect in an open robbery investigation. The suspect is seen walking into the Dollar General located at 3409 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. This happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 1, and he was seen leaving the store shortly after. FMPD said he was also seen snatching a victim’s wallet out of their hands. Dollar General plans to hire 20,000 workers this spring as the discount chain continues its expansion, reported CNN. On Wednesday, the company said it’s looking to hire full- and part-time workers in stores and distribution centers, as well as drivers for its private-trucking fleet.
