LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A Fort Myers man is behind bars for arson and tormenting an animal, officials said. Christian Cintron lives at 3572 Central Avenue and NBC2 crews were at the same address yesterday for a fire. Rescue crews were on the scene and crime scene tape was up. A dog was rescued from the fire, but no one was hurt, rescue crews said. Count on NBC2 to bring you the latest information once it is released. Oregon creamery fire prompts local evacuations

MCMINNVILLE, Oregon / CNN — A three-alarm fire at the Organic Valley Creamery in Oregon triggered evacuations on Tuesday. McMinnville Fire Department responded to the fire at the creamery located at 700 Northeast Highway 99W just before 1:30 p.m., KPTV reported. MMFD asked for residents within a ¼ to 1/2 a mile radius from the fire site to evacuate due to ammonia inside the creamery. Evacuation orders have since been lifted. Homeless Army veteran saved a man from burning car

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP)– A homeless Army veteran saved a man when his car caught on fire in Florida’s Panhandle. The car caught on fire after a head-on collision on I-10 near Pensacola on April 7. Freddie Finkley, 56, was standing near an intersection with his girlfriend when they saw the crash. Garbage truck catches fire in Golden Gate Estates

NAPLES, Fla.– North Collier Fire crews responded to a garbage truck on fire Tuesday afternoon. The garbage truck caught fire on 41st Avenue in Golden Gate Estates. The fire started in the back of the truck. The truck dumped its contents in the street, which is protocol. North Collier firefighters were able to extinguish the flames. There were no injuries.
