Shirtless burglar steals shotgun, jewelry from Fort Myers Beach home

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – A suspect made himself a little too comfortable while burglarizing a Fort Myers Beach home. Deputies are searching for a shirtless burglar who stole a large amount of jewelry and an unknown make/model shotgun [possibly camouflaged] from a residence on Buttonwood Drive, according to SWFL Crime Stoppers. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477 or to submit a tip here. Tipsters could be eligible for a $3,000 cash reward. Stone crab trap bandit strikes in Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS, Fla.– A Fort Myers Beach stone crabber is searching for what she calls a “crab trap bandit” after 10 of her traps were taken out of the water overnight earlier this week.  Melody is stone crab trapper with Maritime Charter South, a company that also hosts dolphin excursion.
