FORT MYERS, Fla.– The Fort Myers Police Department is searching for a vehicle that they believe was involved in a homicide investigation. Law enforcement is on the lookout for a dark-colored SUV that has been linked to a homicide at Maple Crest Apartments. The incident took place on July 11. If you have any information about the SUV, tips can be called into Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). Information could be eligible for a reward. One injured in Fort Myers drive-by shooting

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department are investigating a shooting at 2909 Blount Street in Fort Myers. One female was injured in the shooting, a spokesperson with FMPD said. Officers said they don’t have a suspect in custody, but they do have some leads. This was an isolated incident and officers said there is no threat to the public. The Palm Exceptional School will be under lockout procedures until further notice. This is a developing story. Police respond to Fort Myers rollover crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a rollover crash on Winkler Avenue and Fowler Street Wednesday night. The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Winkler Avenue just before midnight on April 14. Portions of the road were closed as crews worked to clear the scene, but all lanes have since reopened. NBC2 crews saw EMS on scene, but never saw anyone get taken to the hospital. It’s not known what caused the crash or if anyone suffered injuries. Multiple taken to the hospital after Fort Myers crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a crash on Winkler Avenue and Broadway in Fort Myers. The Fort Myers Police Department confirmed they responded to the crash involving two cars. Almost everyone in both cars were taken to the hospital, but no one had life threatening injuries, according to Fort Myers police. One car did have kids inside.
