Golden Gate High School threat was not credible, detectives say
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A “concerning statement” made on social media regarding Golden Gate High School on Thursday was not credible, detectives said.
Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said there will be an increased law enforcement presence at GGHS “out of an abundance of caution” on Friday.
Detectives later determined the threat was not credible, deputies said.
