EAST NAPLES, Fla. – A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after a driver allegedly hit her near U.S. 41 and Pineland Avenue in East Naples Sunday, according to investigators. The teenager was attempting to ride a bike across U.S. 41 when the driver hit her, officials said. Florida Highway Patrol said the driver did not stop. Troopers said they have a suspect vehicle impounded but they are still investigating. This news hit close to home for Amber Mercado who is a mother of three. LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A white pickup truck has been terrorizing a Lehigh Acres neighborhood. The truck has been spotted by neighbors hitting cars, property and even pets before taking off. One family fell victim on Easter Sunday, when they saw a video of their dog being hit by the truck. “It’s hard to watch. A three month old pet and it’s gone now. Troopers investigate hit & run crash that injured four people

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – Four people were injured in a hit-and-run crash on I-75 in Charlotte County Friday evening. Florida Highway Patrol confirmed they are looking for the four door black sedan that drove off after the crash. Two passengers, a 41-year-old North Port man and 17-year-old North Port boy, in the SUV still on scene were seriously injured, according to troopers. The driver and another passenger of the SUV had minor injuries. The black sedan was driving south on I-75 in the center lane, south of Kings Highway while the SUV was driving in the inside lane, troopers said....
