LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno is encouraging employees in the department to get vaccinated against COVID-19. LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A 30-year-old man accused of sexually battering a child under 12 years old was arrested on Wednesday, officials said. Deputies were dispatched to a home in Lehigh Acres after a sex crime was reported, a spokesperson for the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said. A car with its airbags deployed and damage to the driver side was found in a grassy field near a ravine off of North Cleveland Avenue. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at around 5:46 p.m. and found an SUV crashed into the home. LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Rescue crews responded to a two-car crash with heavy damage in Lehigh Acres Wednesday morning, officials said.
