LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A group of ducklings following their mother accidentally slid down a storm drain in Lehigh Acres on Wednesday. Fire crews with the Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue District responded to Rowland Drive in Lehigh Acres after reports of ducklings in distress. When they arrived, firefighters lifted the storm drain lid and jumped in to help reunite the ducklings with their mother. LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A man in his early 20’s was rushed to a nearby hospital after a Lehigh Acres crash, officials said. Only one car was involved in the crash on Lee Boulevard and State Road 82 and no other injuries were reported. Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to and is investigating the crash.
