Man faces sex crime charges for alleged incident involving child under 12

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A 30-year-old man accused of sexually battering a child under 12 years old was arrested on Wednesday, officials said. Deputies were dispatched to a home in Lehigh Acres after a sex crime was reported, a spokesperson for the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said. The suspect, Johnny Jackson, fled the scene before deputies arrived. Deputies eventually caught up with Jackson and arrested him on probable cause. Cape Coral neighborhood frustrated by flooding, drainage woes
