CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — If you need help putting food on the table, the Farmers to Families Food Box Program can help. Anyone who needs food can go to Franz Ross Park in Port Charlotte on Thursday, April 22, at 9:30 a.m. The food distribution site will be a drive-thru. All drivers are being asked to wear face masks. County cleans up fish kill at Port Charlotte Beach Park

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.– Tommy Scott, the community service director for Charlotte County saw just how bad things were at Port Charlotte Beach Park on Monday. His staff got right to work cleaning it up. “They were able to cleanup all the dead fish her at Port Charlotte Beach. They also cleaned up the Bayshore Park, another beach property that we have,” said Scott.
