CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A truck carrying port-a-potties flipped on El Jobean Road in Charlotte County on Saturday. The Allied Portable truck driver lost control of the truck while driving, according to Charlotte County Fire and EMS. The driver’s truck crossed the median and flipped on its side in the westbound lane. Charlotte County fire crews said the driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Fort Myers woman seriously injured in Collier rollover crash

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A Fort Myers woman was seriously injured in a Collier County rollover crash early Saturday morning. Florida Highway Patrol confirmed the crash happened on US 41 and Shores Avenue. The 22-year-old woman driving the car was approaching Shores Avenue on US 41. Her car went off the road and hit a tree and a road sign, troopers said. The woman overcorrected, which caused the her car to overturn. Police respond to Fort Myers rollover crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a rollover crash on Winkler Avenue and Fowler Street Wednesday night. The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Winkler Avenue just before midnight on April 14. Portions of the road were closed as crews worked to clear the scene, but all lanes have since reopened. North Port man killed in Burnt Store Road rollover crash

PUNTA GORDA, Fla.– Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single car crash on Burnt Store Road, Tuesday. The truck drifted off the roadway and overcorrected, crashing into a sign in the median and flipping over. According to the crash report, the driver of the truck was ejected from the car. The 28-year-old North Port man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
