Ikea is offering meatball-scented candles as a prize in a sweepstakes event for “Ikea Family” loyalty club members to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the free loyalty program. Ikea hopes that dangling the candles may entice additional customers to sign up for a loyalty card, which gives members rewards and other perks.

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla.– Officials are responding to an alligator attack at a park in Stuart.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that a man was severely injured after being bit by a gator.
The man said he fell off his bike and was attacked.

DALLAS (AP)— A copy of Nintendo’s Super Mario 64 that remained unopened sold at an auction for $1.56 million.
The 1996 game sold on Sunday, breaking Heritage Auction’s record for the selling price of a single video game, as reported by the AP.
The auction house said in a statement that Super Mario 64 was the best-selling game on the Nintendo 64 as well as the first to feature the Mario character in 3D.
This past Friday, an unopened copy of Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda sold for 870,000.
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.– A dead alligator was found marked with a message near Olde Cypress Golf Course on Monday morning.
“I was walking along Logan Boulevard and was pretty startled to see a dead alligator laying there along the path with a big piece of yellow tape stuck on it,” Elizabeth Axeberg said.

As he unpacked plastic-wrapped lettuce he had bought, he thought he saw a huge worm wiggling around — until its tongue flickered. It was a snake, and a venomous one at that.

CAPE CORAL, Fla.– A road rage incident was caught on camera at a busy Cape Coral intersection.
A witness took a cell phone video at the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard and Hancock Bridge Parkway on Tuesday afternoon.
The witness said two cars were racing each other on the street, swerving lanes and cutting one another off.
