Tokyo Olympics begin in 100 days
After a year of delays and uncertainty, the world is one step closer to a massive milestone.
Wednesday, April 14, marks 100 days until the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
On Friday, July 23, 11,000 athletes from around the globe will gather in Tokyo to compete on the biggest stage in sports.
This year’s Olympics won’t look like any games you’ve seen before. The Olympic Committee has precautions to keep everyone safe.
All athletes and staff at the games will quarantine for two weeks before traveling. They will also need to test negative before they leave and once they arrive.
The Committee said that everyone must practice physical distancing, keep physical interactions to a minimum and wear a mask.
